I needed a power of attorney prepared under quite specific circumstances and had already had one draft rejected by another provider. Krung Shield took time to understand exactly what was needed and delivered a document that worked first time. The explanation I received alongside the document was genuinely helpful.

As someone unfamiliar with how Thai IP registration works, I was glad to find a firm that explained the process step by step rather than just filing paperwork. They handled the preliminary search and application submission entirely. I received updates without needing to ask. The trademark was accepted on first submission.

The strategy consultation was genuinely useful. We were at a point where we needed to formalize several arrangements and were not sure what the risks were. The fortnightly sessions gave us time to think between meetings and come back with better questions. The written summaries they provided after each session are still referenced by our team.

I needed several corporate resolutions prepared quickly for an upcoming board meeting. The timeline they quoted was five to seven days and the documents arrived on day five. Every detail was correct. I have since used the service again for different documentation needs and the standard has been consistent.

Registering a copyright in Thailand while based abroad felt daunting before I found Krung Shield. Their process was clear from the start and conducted entirely remotely without any complications. I appreciated that they told me upfront what the government filing fees would be — there were no unexpected costs.

We engaged Krung Shield for the three-month strategy consultation as our company was preparing to enter a new regulatory environment. The advisors understood the complexity of our situation without needing extensive background briefings. The advice we received helped us avoid what could have been a costly structural decision.

Three Client Journeys
Document Preparation
Resolving a Power of Attorney Complication
The Situation
A Bangkok-based individual needed a power of attorney to authorize a family member to manage property transactions on their behalf during an extended period abroad. A document prepared elsewhere had been rejected at the registry office for failing to meet current format requirements.
What We Did
We reviewed the rejected document to identify the specific deficiencies, then prepared a new version that addressed each point. The client was briefed on the regulatory basis for each required element so they understood the document they were signing.
The Outcome
The document was accepted by the registry office without issue. The client was able to travel as planned, with their affairs properly arranged. The engagement was completed within the standard five-day delivery window.
IP Registration
Trademark Registration for an International Brand
The Situation
A European brand expanding into Southeast Asia needed to secure trademark registration in Thailand before launching locally. The brand name had some similarity to an existing registration in a different product class, which created uncertainty about whether the application would succeed.
What We Did
We conducted a thorough preliminary search and assessed the risk of conflict with the similar registration. After advising the client that the distinction in product classes was sufficient to proceed, we prepared and submitted the application with supporting documentation that clearly articulated the differentiation.
The Outcome
The application was accepted by the DIP without objection. The brand launched in Thailand with its trademark registration confirmed. The client proceeded to register in two further Southeast Asian jurisdictions based on the same application structure.
Legal Strategy
Regulatory Preparation for a Growing Service Business
The Situation
A Bangkok-based service company was growing rapidly and had reached a size at which its existing contractual arrangements with partners and suppliers no longer reflected the value being exchanged. The management team was uncertain which relationships needed formal revision and what risks were present in the existing structure.
What We Did
Over six fortnightly sessions, we reviewed the key contractual relationships, identified points of exposure, and worked with the management team to prioritize which arrangements required formal revision. We also addressed the compliance obligations that arise at the company's current scale under Thai law.
The Outcome
The company ended the engagement with a clear picture of its legal landscape, three revised supplier agreements, and a compliance checklist specific to its regulatory situation. Management reported that the structured pace of the sessions allowed decisions to be reached thoughtfully rather than reactively.
