How long does intellectual property registration take in Thailand?
Timelines vary depending on the type of application. Trademark registrations typically take between eight and twelve months from filing with the Department of Intellectual Property. Copyright registration is considerably quicker. Our service spans four to twelve weeks on our side, covering the search, preparation, and submission process. We keep you informed at each stage.
Who is the Legal Strategy Consultation suited for?
This service is best suited to businesses facing decisions that carry legal weight — entering new partnerships, navigating regulatory changes, assessing contractual exposure, or preparing for significant growth. The three-month format gives advisors time to understand your organisation thoroughly and provide carefully considered guidance rather than rapid-fire recommendations.
Do you handle matters outside Bangkok?
Our office is based in Ratchathewi, Bangkok, but we regularly assist clients throughout Thailand. Document preparation and intellectual property services can be conducted entirely remotely. Strategy consultation sessions are available in person at our Bangkok office or via secure video conference for clients located elsewhere.
What is included in the initial consultation?
We begin by listening. The first meeting focuses on understanding your situation — the background, the objectives, and any constraints you are working within. From there, we outline which of our services addresses your needs, what the process looks like, and what you can reasonably expect. No obligations arise from the initial discussion.
Are fees quoted inclusive of government filing charges?
Our service fees cover professional time, preparation, and coordination. Government filing fees charged by Thai authorities — such as those imposed by the Department of Intellectual Property — are separate and will be communicated to you clearly before any application is submitted. We do not apply administrative markups to third-party charges.
